As for Zhang He, he included several 'whore ships' in his fleet for the entertainment of his sailors. Those who did a good job got 'rewarded'. It was interesting that these 'whore ships' included nurseries for the inventible children. As I have said in other threads, I would have loved to been one of Zhang He's officers captaining a 'whore ship'.
Also consider that Popeye's girlfriend was Olvie Oyl, a rather poorly done experiment in sex change. I'd rather be a eunuch...
