The problem with black is that when you go to the bars (intended application) you like a giant lint collector as they are heavy on the UV lights accenting every piece of dust and lint on your black shirt no matter how clean you think you have it.

I've got a solution. Most T-shirts are made from bleached cotton which is then dyed to a color and cut. But, you can get also material which is natural dyed, never bleached, just dyed directly over the raw cotton.
In black, and in normal light, this will result in a very deep look, a dark charcoal grey with just a subliminal brownish cast.
Under UV, it should be spectacular! Will pull up the hi-lites from the material and lint will be indistinguishable. It will look somewhat pixelated if the cotton is fine enough. Could be trippy, even.

The butterfly looks cool although I wonder if you want to experiment with one that has its wings folded. Either ways, its a great start.
Thanks also for providing the yellow area around the butterfly.
Now I can confidently say that you don't need it on a black T.
Read the post on a 'trippy' design. Well, one man's trippy could be another man's yucky.
Black is clasic, black is timeless, black is the colour of the dark side.
Black is what all the girls love to drink.
So what if specks of fibre show up under UV light. Don't think this will drive the girls away.
Just the orange butterfly on black and you have a winner.
