Anyway such a good thread as this one deserves to be brought out of the mothballs.
I am at work right now, and if I've get a 1/10th out of my hands it is a miracle. Have to have a compact disc soon which only plays "One night in Bangkok" or else I lose my mind.
Have all the cash I need for my trip, being afraid that when I am there my debit card stops to function. Credit card loaded, big bag for the luggage (half empty on my onward flight, full when returning), tickets, passport, hotel voucher, and other important stuff at the ready.
I agree with Bankropolis2020, packing light is the way to go. That is if you do not plan to buy anything in LOS. Last trip I ended up with 2 extra sports bags for the excess luggage. This time I have a 140 liter bag, with extendable handle and wheels for moving it around.
Just 4 days and counting for liftoff.

2 hours my friend picks me and takes me to airport. 4 hours after that I will be winging my way across the Pacific. the wait has been excrutiating - almost 2 years since my last visit. one month of bliss is forthcoming.

Love this thread. Know what JackRabbit is saying. Being a regular business traveler, it only takes a matter of minutes to pack.....but when my trip includes a stop in LOS....it takes weeks and months of thought! Shit, I got 52 days 22 hours and 14 minutes to go (I'm not counting) and I'm already running every minute through my head..... ok, where to go first....plan B if the plane is early....plan C if the plane is late.... what to take or where.....will it stain (evidence) OK, going to focus on MP's this time....freelancers this time....gogo's this time.....all three. What to do what to do. Damn, still 52 days 22 hours and 12 minutes to go!
Shit......52 days 22 hours and 11 minutes! Can someone speed time up for me!!

My trips are usually about 4-6 months apart. 2 months after or before is NO MAN'S LAND. The last trip has faded a bit and I'm no longer riding the high. the next trip is still far enough off that it's not yet tangible. All is booked and ready to go....but, just a bit far off.
So, how does one 'feed the fire'. The forum sure helps....checking up on the new models on Poseidons website.....helps a bit.....yeah, cruising MP websites and thinking that 'that could be me standing in front of that fishbowl.'
The past few trips I've resorted to laying out detailed plans of attack. Many have been quick to point out what a waste of time that was.......but it was fun never the less and thanks to all that humored me. I have stayed to a general focus though and giving that a bit of research and thought seems to take the edge off the 2 month hump.
so the focus of this trip? GFE
Don't worry...got plans to visit Nataree, Poseidon, and and Plaza. If time allows, updated visits to Mona Lisa(check out the 'new' towels) Mirage, and CP2(my first Bangkok experience)

6 days 20 hours and 35 minutes to lift off.
I thought I was the only one that actually counted the minutes.
Its like waiting for santa clause.
I have my mind set on eden's and the beer garden.
Those are the memories that really stick out in my mind from my last trip. That and Suzie won's on soi Cowboy.
I have already started packing.
This time next week I will be there tomorrow.

I got at least 10 months before I can reasonable see me going back there again and I depressed has hell about it LOL. owever next time i go back I going to hang out at a temple for a bit longer cause there so dang peaceful and I like that

Hello folks,
Just another 15 hours and then I board the Big Bird to Thailand. Almost finished packing and now it's only 1 night sleep and another 13 hours on the plane before I am back in Thailand again.
Am so exited to meet up with the bro's who are currently in BKK and the ones who will arrive shortly after me. I have my new digital camera with me and I plan to make loads of pictures so that every aspect of my trip is recorded for the future.
The clock is ticking away, tick, tick, tack, tick.........
See you all in BKK or Pattaya.
