Will likely check out Relax this week. Stopped by last week; first time I've been in since it changed from a Korean hostess bar into a Thai karaoke bar. Some TOT and KT staff are working here. Usually doesn't get busy 'til late. Will stay open past 2 am if there's a crowd. Those mysterious bottles of Perrier are available.

Those drills didn't help me much, either. Dara still does her class, and it is effective but the learning curve is steep. I find speaking not nearly as difficult as reading and writing. You must do both for her class to have relevance. There is no English phonetic translation in her class; you need to know the letters and how each word is pronounced in Thai. It's about as easy as advanced calculus.
