LOL! You think you jest Arcadius, but in fact...if you only knew. But I have reformed, honest! Heh heh (evil chuckle).
Whisper: I really fell for that, didn't I? Good job. Actually that speech that Jessop makes is a classic piece of writing. I am far from rightwing or a flag waver; I found Jessop to be just as repulsive as anyone else would but the fact is I totally relate and largely agree to the sentiment in that speech. When he says, "...I'd just as soon you pick up a rifle or stand aside and say thank you." or whatever he says...I've wanted to say that very thing to my fellow liberals who sneer at members of the military. (I have quite long explanation for my feelings on that which I shall refrain from boring everyone with).
My favorite movies are ones where there is some ambiguity about "evil" as there is in real life. Jessop was nasty guy and he went too far, but we need nasty guys too.
*Any idea of how I can get that speech in full text?
