Hi guys
I'm arriving in bkk on 31st july and hopefully have 4 weeks of what I imagine heaven to like ahead of me.

Thanks. Im sorting out my tour now, and am looking forward to it.
What kind of people go on the tour? Are there any sad people who are just looking, or do people who will actually be droppin dollar in the gogo/massage/bj bars go?
I dont doubt the quality of Dr Love's tour, but would hate to be stuck with a bunch of losers who only want to look around and dont want to rock 'n' roll.
I will be staying at Town Lodge, so I should be able to find the Toxic bar! hopefully I can get good info from those guys.

Leeroy seems to have more than enough motivation to pave his own trail. Why should he bother paying for a tour when he could spend that money on the girls instead? Unless Dr. Love looks like one hella sexy bitch, I think Leroy's cash would be better spent elsewhere. This site alone already gives you 10x what you need to know to enjoy yourself in BKK. There's simply no need for a tour if you just bother to read the site and print the maps out. Well, that's my view anyway.

I'll be doing both! Because ive never visited Thailand before, i'll be dropping clangers all over the place and looking as green as the next newbie.
However ive searched this site and learned everything I know from it so im sure itll pay off. at least ill have an educated guess and maybe will be able to avoid a load of scams and crap places that I would otherwise have been a victim of.
Also, i'm sure that nothing can beat 1st hand experience when walking into a place for the first time, first-timers must stick out like a sore thumb, so i'll be glad to get my wings under the watchful eye of Dr Love and then afterwards hack my own trail through the bush with whoever I meet along the way!
