whatever man...RTB is a business man...sure he knows he will take a hit during that free hour but it is biz and he is hoping most will look at his generosity as a "thank you" for being a good customer.
shows the character of a person when they will actually show up and not order a drink until the bell rings and then leave when the hour is over (most cases I presume not tipping)...
the ladies love that kind of class LOL!
probably the same dude that will plan a trip months in advance with the ambitions of staying at the cheapest possible hotel and eating off the street vendors (which I love but dont budget my holiday around) just so they can get the most punani possible..
same guys that would never get a GIK or a freebie because the girl actually thought you were a gentleman...
Dr....if you feel that sort of etiquite (sp?) is appropriate then I hope the prospects that may take your tour will show you the same class..

Last night it is clear though that 10-11 is clearly the most popular time....After 11 it all died down very fast.
Maybe shifting the 'free time' to an earlier time, say 9pm, might yield better results, from a marketing point of view?

I think you're over-reacting to what he said - while we certainly appreciate RTB's hospitality (probably a better term than 'generosity' in this context), DrLove pointed out that in the context of the bar business, the free drink hour is also a workable marketing technique.. neither takes away from the fact that there's certain freeloaders taking advantage of it.

Well I was at last nights RT,, as promised the bottle of black was there at 9 pm for those who wished to partake,, I must say I did NOT see any "balloon chasers".
The people I met where friendly, amicable ( spelling) etc. Basically a nice mix of people from different countries and cultures.FARK they weren;t even rude to the friggen Aussie convict
Smiles and try to see godd when you can,, it is too easy to see bad in the world.
