Diverticulitis is the trouble, mine was infected sufficiently to be leaking into the gut.
All looks ok for now, no bowel resection required at this stage.
I'll stick to the nil alcohol and await my 17 Jan arrival to BKK

... and a postman to boot. The guy is either on the beer or on medication, no wonder the post is often late and service is crap, here in Sydney. Friggin' Sydneysiders, they always have an excuse for something, so laid back that they redefine the word horizontal. Let's send him to Melbourne for 6 months (a surprisingly nice and sophisticated city for Australia), they'll straighten him up, instil some work ethos and teach him to live vertically.

Sarge,, NOOOOO NOT Melbourne,, anywhere but Melbourne,,,, watching aerial ping pong on TV 24 hours a day would drive me nuts!!!!
Melbourne is not really part of Australia,, it's down over the border so referred to as Mexico.
I will give those Mexicans 2 pluses,, they make the best beer ( MB VB etc ) and the "cafe" scene and food kicks Sydneys but the WEATHER ( yuck) and the people (still in yellow T-shirts and Ugh boots) leave a lot to be desired.
