When I read BB's post re: prawns, I remember a dinner I attended last month in China and the sounds made by a table full of Chinese crunching the heads of giant prawns and sucking out the contents.

Many Chinese do the same thing with prawns as those in 'Nawlins do with crawfish: squeeze the tail and suck the head.
