Greetings Anne,
Thanks for your honest answer. You are the first of five women I have talked with who answered fiancée visa. The past several years I've been working for months at a time in Abu Dhabi (UAE). There is a huge P4P scene here, women from all over the globe. I never see any Thai women here, I was curious to get an answer from one.
Here's the background on the question.
When a woman ask me to buy her a drink in a bar I always say "yes", provided you tell me a personal story about yourself. Some refuse, but most are willing to talk. I bought a drink for a beautiful 21 yo Chinese woman. The question I asked you was her story. In Abu Dhabi she had all four offers in front of her. I changed the financial numbers and Abu Dhabi to BKK, but nothing else in the situation.
Here was the question:
Assume the following: You are 21 better than average looking Thai girl, no children, close family, very little education (No Computer Skills). Struggling to live in BKK with little or no money. You can choose ONE of the following.
A) Young Arab man will send you 15,000 baht a month. You have to have sex and show him a good time when he comes to town. He also expects you to have sex with his friend also. He will only visit BKK once a month for four days max. You can do what you want when he is not in town.
B) Old Japanese man offers you 10,000 baht per month and will provide a nice furnished flat with all expenses paid. He visits every other week and stays for up to a full week. Very jealous man.
C) Young American offers you a one-way plane ticket with a Fiancée Visa. Everything is stamped and approved, all you have to do is get on the plane. The guy earns very little money in the US but is a nice good-looking guy.
D) Job in Hong Kong earning the equivalent of 24,000 baht per month. Share a small room with two other women. Work 6 days a week in a semi-conductor factory, relatively easy work.
The Chinese girl says she is going to choose "B", I think she will take "D" which is where she was leaning.
Filipina Girls (Two of them) one choose "D", the other took "A". Both were leaning for "C", but did not want to live like a poor American.
Kirgystan girl choose "A", some of these Arab guys actually marry these girls as a #3 or #4 wife.
Kazakhstan girl choose "D", her family thinks she is working at grocery store in a Moscow and the guilt is too much to handle.
I've asked this question of other girls but most do not understand English, one thought I was offering her a fiancée visa.
I'm sure my American arrogance will show in this remark but I was surprised most girls did not choose "C". I think around the world people realize that poor is poor whether living in the US or Kirgystan. However, if one is a hard worker there are more opportunities for financial success in the US than in most countries. Which is maybe the reason you choose "C". Have a nice day !
