i will f*ck up the thread again, but will apologise.
i am in a daze.
Aileen and I have a very good friend (also Filipino) who gave birth today at 4am UK time.
she has been abandoned by the Father and she talked to us about having some input in the baby.
when is very nervous about her new role in life and worried about being alone and eventually she will have to return to work and would we like to babysit and get used to having a baby around etc?
would we like to practice bathing and the sh*tty nappy thing and we were both thrilled at the offer.
we have just got back from visiting the Hospital and taking the card, flowers and present.
Wen asked if I wanted to hold the baby and while a little nervous I did and what an experience.
she was fast asleep and I could not believe someone so small, delicate, smelly and damn ugly could be so beautiful.
i was so humble to have her in my arms and I suddenly thought about the first time I will hold my own child in my arms and the eyes moistened.
i had to pass her back to Wen and leave the room and all the tears flowed.
i really was overcome and cannot wait for MY child to be in my arms.
sorry guys, had to tell.

Hey Mr. Nokna...I bet you had difficulty deciding in what thread to post the warm news. Must have done one of your archive searches down there in the basement of the Forum.
But since you going to be a father and your practicing already, why not start a Child Care thread?
Or get Mr BK to start a Family Care Topic.
