Real Aussies dont eat that gut rumbling, where is the nearest toilet foreign food when they are on the piss. They get into steaks, hamburgers, lamb chops and real beef sausages..not the German shit ones either. And speaking of good Aussie food, a BTF member?, is going to bring along a BBQ, its a 44 gallon drum cut into 2 with a grill on top. He is going to set it up in the foyer for the attendees of RT, and maybe even the guests of the hotel. No need to worry about smoke from the barby, there will be enough huffing and puffin and hot air around the bar to blow it away.
But this has reminded me of the German food, pork. Australia had a feral pig problem in the bush and was causing major problems, hunters could not keep the numbers down.
Around 1980, a company in Silverwater, Sydney got the rights to send 'Wild boar' carcasses to Germany. The outback farmers and hunters got a windfall. Around the outback western towns, large chillers were set up for receiving 'Wild boar' carcasses. When the chillers were full, the trucks would come in and transport the meat to Sydney, then processed and shipped to Germany. If only the Germans knew what they were eating.
I have spent a lot of time in the bush and seen what these pigs get up to for food. Eating cows that had been dead for weeks, full of maggots and other vermin. Also eating each other, lambs, sheep and anything that was within mouth range. One farmer I know, would catch feral pigs, put them in pens and feed them kangaroos and any dead livestock he came across on his property. Never fed them grain food, only dead meat and shipped them off to the chillers. The processors, did check for liver damage and flute.... I think.
I have sent many pigs to pig heaven and would never think about eating them, total shit food. So next time you bite into 'German wild boar', think about it.
Enchillades or similar, that could be better than Nachos, is enchillades Mixican by any chance. Your the chef RTB.

Knew it...I bloody knew it. All the others have said RTB is mad but I did not believe them. So it has finally happened.
RTB has lost it, the coppers are busy counting the bodies and tending the wounded. No wonder your still open. The doors have to stay open for the medic's to get in there.
March RT will now be found at Down Under Bar, soi 7/1 Suk.
