This is a market for both the high-end and the low-end and it is pointless to argue the low-end is just as good as the high-end.
You could take the same analogy that a Yugo is just as good as a Ferarri and Ferarri driver's were overpaying for a car when basically both will get you from point A to point B and you could buy many Yugos for the same price of one Ferrari. And while many Yugo drivers may aspire to drive Ferrari's, none of the Ferrari drivers aspire to drive Yugo's.
Interesting analogy. I own a Chevy cavalier with the sports suspension and it comes with Goodyear high performance wide tires. With discounts (cheap Charley is brutal with car salesman) I paid 13KUSD. My buddy owns a 93 Corvette with a fresh suspension and tires that are 12" wide. We compared handling on a winding road. The corvette was way better in the corners. Felt like you were riding on a rail. No body lean, stable felt safe. Hopped into my car same road and speed. Some body lean, nearly as stable, safe. My car had 75 to 80% of the handling capability of the vette for 1/3 of the money. I could buy 3 Cavilers for cost of 1 vette.
Using the same analogy and cost benefit ratio the guy on a budget gets almost the same thrill you do.

Come on guys you are missing the point. No-one is arguing that a Ferrari is better value than a Yugo or that 5 slags are less fun than one beauty. It comes down to what DUsa says is 'the price point at which I operate'.
The 'best' investment decision for someone with millions in the bank is very different to the guy with only a few thousand.
Now LY may laugh at the 'whitey' in the SL with the Bt5000 supermodel hooker next to him but given the financial resources, he would swap places in an instant.

Right, just like Vegas. There are high rollar tables where people are betting 25,000 USD a hand, right next to Grandma playing Nickel (5 cent) slots before waiting in line for the 99 cent buffet. Most of the people in the high rollar areas can afford to lose it, but most of the hotels were built off of Grandma's nickels.
