I do not believe that it creates a good mood in a discussion when a member expresses a negative opinion while quoting the name of other members...
When a member quotes another member in a positive way, that generates rather a natural momentum of sympathy.
That is why I consider that certain remarks are useless, or simply stupid when they do not do nothing but generate a bad ambience between certain members and deteriorate the atmosphere of this forum.

For the remainder, it is a matter of personal taste, of interpretation and of comprehension (for example, I have the impression that some people did not understand the two double-meanings included in the expression "smoking sucks", and perhaps in some culture, a "beer garden" can decently be a place with very few different brands of beers and no Belgian brevage on offer, but in mine, it cannot).
I also do not believe that it is necessary to have lived a situation to find it funny, but I will not write a 24-volume encyclopedia to explain my conception of humour...
Anyway, this (my conception of humour) was not the main subject of my initial post. I just regret a certain behaviour here from some individuals.
I hope this clarifies things enough because this was my last post related to this boring discussion. I presume that a certain individual won't be able to stop arguing here, but I won't feed the trolls any more by now.
- If you spend far too much time in writing explanations and arguing, you are certainly a member of the BTF!!!

- Why don't you find his particular contributions funny?
I understand all about 'different types of sense of humor', and all that - but I fail to see what he's done to invite the type of rancor and unpleasant responses both of you have lobbed at him.
Personally, I found his contributions to 'ymbit' funny, just as I did yours.

Hey Harry, not once did I say that FG contributions weren't funny, then after these posts were made FG sent me a PM and we chalked it up as a misunderstanding and everything is cool  .
If anyone was going to criticise anyone I thought they would get their facts correct first, it was LY only who wasn't appreciative, I just questioned FG's question which was only meant to be light heartened, blown well out of proportion.
