Why are my suggestions off topic? I think a lot of people don't want to participate in a forum that contains subjects about under-age sex or ladyboys, and that limits membership, and eventually makes the forum stale.
You and others may disagree with me about these matters (which is your right), but my suggestions were an honest attempt to come up with ideas to breathe some new life into the forum.
What "happened" to this thread is that a few people brought their vendetta against me over from the thread where I discussed antibiotics.
Sorry if it sounded like I was saying you shouldn't have posted your thoughts just that they were reactive topics that took the thread a bit off topic.
You also replied to the posts so helped in the process. You could have just posted your comments and left it at that.

China Sailor, I think you make 2 big mistakes.
A) You talk directly to Mr. Alan. This is pointless as he does not have a clue what you are saying. Read some of his answers, you will see that he has a trackrecord of 100% failure to answer ON TARGET. Which is very strange since you would think that he could hit the target once or twice just because the law of chance would favor him atleast once in every 1.000 posts.
Since even the dumbest member here understands how the LAST 25 and LATEST POSTS concept works, and you must explain this to him. What does that say about his inteligence? That he is the most stupid guy around here!
Or is it something else? He does know how it works, but he dislikes it? What do I do when I see a topic about let say TECH or HEALTH. I skip it. Why? Because I have no problems, so no questions. And my knowledge is not enough to help others. So I skip that part (and others) of the forum. There is no point in wasting my and your time. Now Mr. Alan knows everything. So he can help with every problem of every person. Maybe we should call him GOD from now on?
But one section, the ladyboys, should be banned. (????) What is that all about? Sounds like he is on the wagon and he does not want to be confronted with his own gayness. Or we can only post topics that please Mr. Alan. Maybe we should call him GOD from now on?
B) You say it is NOT personal when we argue with him. Well since his facts are mostly right, our arguement is not the facts he post, but THAT he posts them. It is his judgement we have an issue with. That looks personal to me.
When I say he wastes serverspace, he replies with ladyboys and gays.
I think when Bush would declare war on ladyboys and vows to kill them all before the end of the year, our Mr. Alan will be dancing on his roof, just like the palestinians were when it rained scuds or the towers fell. So I guess it is personal since he has an objectionable mentality.
Can this all be resolved? Yes very easy!
1) he leaves the forum
2) he just lurks
3) he restricts his googling and posts with comon sence (does not threadf***) and common decency (as in ethicaly, not as in abusive language).
When he goes for option 4) then I'm happy to oblige him with some fun at his cost.
