By all means - actually, to be quite honest, I really don't give a rat's ass if people drink themselves into oblivion, live in denial about it, and make a bloody mess of themselves. a) it's entertaining, b) it eventually clears out the rubbish. I only feel bad when the occasional incidental bystander gets hurt by it, and especially when its girls. Sadly, in Thailand (especially BKK and Pataya), there is no shortage of such sad displays of alcoholism - both by the farang and local populace, to be fair.
Still, at the end of the day, guys who drink obliteratingly much, and present themselves as a typical ass, not only make the rest (the few) of us who don't drink look better, but they provide some great entertainment - kinda like watching the special olympics.
