I have 37 more days to go before I touch down in BKK. I find myself looking desperately for "serious-important-crucial" types of things to distract me cuz the wait is killing me. I just painted the house. That took a week but now I am left without anything of major importance to distract me. Krap! Any suggestions would be appreciated!

For pure time-killing I say there are "busyworks" .
1) Take a evening in Your favourite bar , take beer and silent table. Then sip Your beer and do Your packing list very carefully.
- Clothes
- Small amount of medication for those nasty little
bacterias and for scrathches.
- Toilet bag
- Odd items
Carry-on baggage and whatever You need in it.
2 )Mark on the list if some items need some care-taking before leave (Cleaning/ re-colouring boots , sharpen Your fruit-knife...)
3)Another thing : Do that care-taking
4)Closer to leave take some room and open Your suitcase and check items on your list and lay them ready-to-pack condition.
5) ALSO CHECK THAT YOU HAVE TWO SETS OF SUITCASE AND HOME KEYS !
6) Check and print info You need from here.

3m x 2m Chinese rug
Golf clubs
Large picture of Melbourne skyline
Large bag containing micro stereo
Suitcase containing clothing and video player
Small bag containing more clothing
Laptop bag containing laptop PC
Duty-free bag containing 2 bottles of grog

Hello all
Packing list what packing list LOL. Alls I take and need for a 3 week trip is a toothbrush, some Condoms and a few clothes and I set everything else I might need can be bought in thailand at the drug store or foodmart.

Less than 72 hours until take off........man, can smell that beautiful hot muggy air already.......ahhhh
Although it only takes about 30 minutes to pack, couldn't resist the ceremonial setting out of the suitcase and tossing in a few items. Makes it feel like it's just around the corner....well, it is.
Damn, feel like a kid getting ready to take a trip to Disneyland......love it

Well guys,
Thought I´d just join in the gang of day-counters! 16 more before touchdown! And I asked a friend to paint the house - just to have something to watch! hahaha
The days are slow now - but too fast once you´re there!
Fly safe guys! And don´t bring too much stuff, washing up the hotel can do and rest is in the shops. Lap-top and ATM-card is by far the most important items!

Tickets arrived yesterday and some how there is an odd pile of things appeared on the packingtable.
Shades , passport , travel insurancecard , carrybelt , backpack...
 From where , I do not know.
But IT HAS BEGUN !!!!
Life is returning and things are cleared one by one.
247 hours , 7 minutes , odd seconds until The Big Bird Of Freedom embraces me with her steel wings.
