I was wondering the same thing.........Is it really true that UBC won't be showing MNF at all this year? Why? WTF??? I thought it was only until the World Series was over.........but I had assumed that for no reason.

Not the fault of UBC – It was ESPN that pulled the plug on MNF in Thailand.

This year NFL coverage in Thailand got all screwed because of ESPN.

Fairly late in the game ESPN decided they were not going to show ANY NFL coverage in Thailand. True/UBC scrambled a bit and do cover at least two games a week, but apparently ESPN will not give True/UBC the rights to show the Monday game.

The Sunday night game is shown later in the week.

While ESPN are the bad guys as it relates to MNF, I will give them credit for showing some NCAA football every week. They show at least one and I think two NCAA games a week.

So you guys missed Bret Favre's 82 yard touchdown pass on the first scrimmage play of overtime?

A thing of beauty, indeed.

Maybe you can find out if you get to watch any NFL games next weekend.

I thought I got some NFL games on True, up-country, this last visit. Maybe I just dreamed that. I've been doing a lot of dreaming lately.

Who's Bret Favre?
During the game they asked his wife why his name is pronounced "Farve" instead of "Favre", but she did not really have an answer.

But to answer your question, Bret Favre is the most overrated player in the history of the National Football League. He is the career leader in intercepted passes thrown.

Mr. Alan:

He is also the career leader in touchdown passes completed, most consecutive starts by a QB, pass completions, pass attempts and perhaps most importantly, most career victories.

He is 2nd to Marino in passing yardage and will likely pass him if he plays long enough.

To say he is overrated is to ignore his accomplishments and to single out the only record he holds that might be considered detrimental to his career is patently unfair.

Alan,

Suggest you take a poll among NFL players the last 15 years and ask........is Favre overrated? Hmmm.....likely 100% disagree with Mr. Alan from Bangkoktonight Forum. Now Im not sure who to believe.

Actually, it does remind me of the purpose of this board.
