i am going to be representing a party interested in purchasing auto engines and parts. Most likely i will have to go to china to make the right connections but a thai chinese businessman might be able to get what i need without me going to china and spending all the bribe money lead info appreciated or a shipping agent too

As you have allready 'asked the audience'.
I suggest you either:
(a) phone a friend ie. the thai/chinese chamber of commerce in your town/city/village, etc
or
(b) go 50/50 and drop into the nearest Thai/Chinese Restaurant. At least you will get fed....
Or I could always revert to the wise old ways and tell you to UTFSE... Good luck anyway :Cheers: NO offense intended.

- You think you can make right connections in China asking a Thai businessman, whom you don't even know yet.
-You think you will pay less bribes in Thailand than in China and you will be able to operate efficiently from there without being screwed-up by your Chinese counterparts.
