After reading a numerous amounts of trip reports and advice on hotels, I've decided to get off the pot and make the trip. Any Bangkok vets who will be in between 2/12/04 and 2/22/04 who would like to show a newbee around for an evening or so, I'd appreciate it.

Maybe we could use a standing thread called "Mercy f*ck" or something -- for newbies to meet up with each other or more established members. Or maybe not a good idea; could be schismatic.

Now to threadf*ck the forumf*ck, I wonder how our newboy Ruthless Stabb is doing... He was sort of a "project" for me and JackWoWabbit, tried to coach him and prep him as a drink-sinking, lady-killing, scam-dodging, FR-writing machine. His plane got in about 3 hours ago.
I have a soft spot for the rookies. I hope he's gotten off to a good start during his first 3 hours in-country.
