newbie here (dont all sigh at once )
as name may suggest i;m in a wheelchair (paraplegic) also look like a bulldog chewing a wasp  anyone else also in a chair or disabled or handicapped amongst you lot here or am i the only one
Would or will this cause any problems with the girls if i come over and if i did come over would any of you care to show me the ropes (beers on me but you buy your own women) LOL
Do you see others like me around or will i stand out like a spare one at a wedding etc

You definatly won't be the first. One of my funniest memories from last trip was seeing another wheelchair borne man cruising up Soi 8, electric motor humming, and a bargirl riding on back with a huge grin on her face. I don't mean to sound insensitive, but it looked soooo funny.

although i do not know the answer to your question,i'm sure you would have a good time.
i'm sure some of the members who reside in BKK would be more then happy to show you a good time.
although not as tragic as your case, i once saw a man in Patong with 2 broken legs.
plaster from his ankles to his crotch on each leg and using crutches.
never saw him alone,he was always being fussed over by the girls.
go and enjoy.
pity i can't be there,in my job i spend a lot of time with people who share your circumstances.
i'm used to dealing with wheelchairs and the problems that come with them.
i would have more than happy to accompany you on a night out.

Welcome to the forum. I don't think you will have any problems with the females.
Unfortunately, I did not notice many establishments in bkk, besides the hotels being very wheelchair accessable. I hope I'm wrong though and that most will be.

Wellcome Wheels..........there is a guy in Pattaya in a wheelchair when he goes out he take a motor bike Taxi and hangs on to handle on the back of the seat and away he goes

I'm just wondering about how your going to get down some of those terrible sidewalks. I think your hotel choice and hangout should be strategically planned.
soi cowboy would be the easiest to navigate(in my opinion). I spent 10 months as a primary care giver.
I'm not offering services, I know you can take care of yourself but i'll be around for most of march and'll buy you a couple beers if your around.
and yes of course the ladies will love you

yeah.... I was having the same thoughts about the difficulty of getting down Sukhumvit road, what with the raised manhole covers, high kerbs, and street vendors, it's tough enough on foot.
But once in soi cowboy, then wheels, you should be OK
