Hey, anybody who is living in Los care to learn to play golf. Only criteria is that you play as good as me and I suck, I have played 2 games in my life about 6 years ago. The only other criteria is that the scenery is good (caddies) and not to far from Bkk. I have a course in mind that was recommended as the most bewwwdifull caddies in the world, but I will have to find where I put the name and location, but open to other recos

Sounds good, when are you in town next?, but can you play already? I have hesitations playing with someone who is good and I will drag them down to my level. Drinks are a certainty, but cigars, in all that fresh air!! The 2 times I played many years ago I was the poor bugger who had to go and get the beer at every hole, it just was not fair.
I am just wanting to play golf and learn by trial and error, not really interested in lessons at all, unless my caddy can place my balls in the right position for a hole in one, I'd pay for that lesson.

I won't be anywhere near Pattaya, unless I think up some scam to get an overnight away or 2, already working on it.

Good, thats the kind of experience I am looking for, we can congratulate each other on how good we are and how much we have improved every game. The caddies can join in if they know whats good for them. I will look up this course I heard about and see what the costs are and let you know. Are you living here in Bkk or what?

I've played before, but don't mind playing with any level players. It's all good and fun. I've never played golf in BKK, but would like to. So, finding people that want to play is a problem. It would be cool to hang with you and wack a few!! ha ha ha!!
No worries. You can take as many "mulligans" or rehits as you want and play by any rules you want. I will play by USGA rules, but that does not mean you have to!! Sorry. Getting to complicated now. Cold ones are a must and we can send the caddies to pick up the beers!! ha ha ha!!
And if they can adjust our balls on the course ..... all the better!! ha ha ha!!

Hmm I heard a lot about Cha-Am and Hua Hin. These places offer you a good place to play golf....many golfers head down there....close to Bangkok, close to the action....je!

also i think we should invent a handycap scheme- abc and Pinga have to down a beer for every game of golf they have played in the last ten years...
sounds fair???
as for me... im attempting the status of frequent tourist, this is my 4th time back in two years, will be around for a month from the 20th onwards...

I think that I might get alcohol poisoning!! ha ha ha!! I'm okay. I was able to play over 30 time last year!! Okay. I don't have a life on weekends!! ha ha ha!! Seriously, I'm just okay, but love the game.
I sure Pinga can drink my share!! I'll take 1/2 = 15 beers ha ha!!
I do hope that we do get to play. It will be fun!! I would like to play at the course at the airport, but am afraid of hitting a plane!! Boy. Would that be embarrassing!! ha ha ha!
