I have been seriously worried the last 2 weeks.
I took an HIV test..
I have done some very very STUPID drunk things and been the victim of circumstance also.
I was sweating this test.. the first in 5 years..
I"M CLEAN.......Negative BABY!
I vow from this day forward (as I prayed to all the gods sitting in the clinic) I will NEVER EVER be that stupid again! AND I REALLY mean it THIS time. I was pure scared....
When the doc said Negative... I almost cried!!

I know the feeling... I had a similiar experience a few years back when I got Mono and my T-Cells were low. When the doctors were trying to figure out the reason why, they asked me if there was a possiblity I could have contracted HIV. I have never had sexual relations unprotected, well at least since I was a teenager, but thinking of some of the women I had hooked up with in the past made it a real possibility. I said yes, and submitted to a blood test. The scariest 3-4 days in my life. When the test came back negative it felt like a ton of bricks was removed from my shoulders.
Last time I went to the LOS I had a few BBBJs and was scared again that I could have contracted something. I had no symptoms but paranoia is one of my characteristics. After about a years time I gathered the courage to go back to the doctor and do all the tests and once again I came out clean. I was pretty stupid and will never do that again either, at least I hope I will have the restraint to resist them, it's so hard... I don't understand why so many people here are comfortable with receiving BBBJs, especially if they have gfs back home.
I don't know if this is accurate but I read somewhere that 30% of the women in Koh Samui are HIV positive...

Phew, thank god, I know the girl I went with was in the 70% circle.
By the way Macaler, what did you do that was so stooopid ?? and how long after it did you get the test. I am going to have a round of tests when I go back to Oz shortly, they can take a litre of blood and go hell for leather with their tests.

Glad to hear bout the good news.
Somehow we never get to hear any bad news. Is it cuz all BKT members are hiv free? Oh no! I remember once last year somebody said he had tested positive. But we still have no clue who that is, as he changed his forum handle to let us know.

I have such a busy schedule these days.
I also went to the doctor for a test, especially after my last trip to BKK.
But they wanted all sorts of stuff, Blood, Urine, Sperm, Sweat and even a Stool Sample... 
I said I don't have time for all this, so I just took of my undepants and left them there.. Job done...

go 13 weeks without unprotected sex, nip into London pay £50 quid and get the result in 15mins, then you only have 15 mins of real worry, I must admit it does play on your mind leading up to the day but I think it would be worse waiting 4 days for the result.
