What is your longest time spent in one stay in Thailand?
For me it was a year. I was 17 and was stationed with the US Army in Sattahip, Thailand. Sattahip is 25 miles south of Pattaya.  .
Second longest period was in July last year when I spent two months, mostly in Samui.

Seven weeks and it wasn't long enough. I'm staying six weeks starting late June and it's not going to be long enough.

Being in Thailand then was like drinking water out of a fire hydrant. It was $3.00 for a s/t and $5. for a L/T. The Thais were so hospitable and kind. I remember once a family waving me over to eat with them. They hardly has any food but were so kind and generous. It was paradise and what gave me my initial Asian bug. I remember that for 35.00 I got a bungalow and a girlfriend for a month. I hope you can understand this buy I was toooo young to appreciate it all. Youth is wasted on the young. haha. Then Pattaya was one of the main R and R centers for Vietnam. I got my Vietnam Service and Campaign medals for that year. I also got 7 days of R&R but didnot go anywhere because I was already there. Utapao was attacked when I was there. % insurgents threw a grenade at a B-52. Then they had communist insurgents in the north, especially around Korat mountains..I use to take a jeep full of ammunition through those mountains to dump off in Korat....Wow, what a way to spend your 18th year of life!!!!!

I was in Vietnam twice 67-68, 72-73 and the prices were the same. Cheap beer, pot and my dick got a lot harder and faster then it does today.
I'm in country from 29 June thru 10 August. If your here the same time lets hook up.

I willbe in country from 5 to 22 June. Sorry to be missing you. I was in Thailand 71-72 and was in Korea 72-73...there is a night and day difference between Thaland and Korea. Where did you R&R BigDUSA

I arrived in Thailand on December 17, 2000 and have never left. I have never left the borders of Thailand for 3 years and roughly 6 months.

But the end is near I am affraid. Unless some things fall into place in the next couple months.
