Really? Most of my thai friends won't agree with that statement! When they come at home and I ask what beer they would like to drink, they answer:
1) LEO Beer
2) CHANG Beer (if LEO is not available)
3) SINGHA Beer (if the stupid farang can't provide one of the two mentioned previously)
4) HEINEKEN Beer (which is the brand that I buy for my farang friends, because the Thais that I know don't like it so much).
And IMHO, I think that most of the Belgian Beers and even my German favorite (König Ludwig Dunkel) are far more delicious than the Chang beer, but it is a matter of personal taste. ("Les goûts et les couleurs, ça ne se discute pas !")

I just thought you guys might like the opinion of a non-beer drinker. 
And, no, I have never tasted horse piss. This is merely a figure of speech for those literal minded friends of mine out there.
