Hello dear members,
Almost none of you bkktonite members have ever met me, but I hope we have had a few good exchanges on these forums.
Anyway, I haven't posted for a while. The reson being, I was getting my finances in order, tying up loose ends, etc.
Now, I am taking the plunge, starting my own business (no, not in LOS, not a GoGoBar  .) If it works, I'll be rich (and I mean really), if I fail, then back to stupid job (and I don't want to return to France... eeeeeek).
Wish me luck. If this flies, then I'll be visiting... heck I could live in LOS for as long as I want.
So wish me luck!!!

P.S. - I know, this is a stupid post to some, but this is really a major step by me with all that I have saved.

First off, my hat for having the balls to do the big jump...not so many people have the strenght to leave a sure job, even a sh_tty one, and face the risks of a having their own biz!
Then, my best wishes for your new venture: keep focusing on the final goal (living/retiring in LOS forever) and you wont fail!

As they say - "No risk, No gain".
Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
Take the plunge. I have the utmost admiration for people who dare to live their dreams. A lot of us, myself included, are so used to living in our comfort zone that we don't want to risk losing whatever we have, in pursuit of our dreams.
Good luck to you brother, in whatever it is that you are pursuing. Hope you make it big and you get to be in paradise for the rest of your life.

I also wish you goog luck, CafeDelMar. What is your real nationality anyway? I am a french national and I am a little bit surprised by some typing mistakes:
"a votre sonte" instead of "ŕ votre santé" (ok, you use an english keyboard, but the letter "o" is far away from "a" on both keyboards, isn't it?)
"sang-royale" instead of "sang royal" for your title...
Well, it doesn't matter a lot, but I wonder where you come from. Perhaps you are from another country but currently you live in France?
