Bros, Looks like I have been VERY successful in my propaganda blitz on my Falang Fiance...she is wanting to retire in LOS part time at least.
SO....what do Falang ladies/wives do in LOS for fun?? My lady is not a drinker and prefers to not be around me when I occasionally decide to cut loose a BBs.
Are there any groups or forums etc for ladies here so she too can have a social life with some interaction with other Falang ladies??
Any info from local bros with Falang wives would be appreciated.

hmm, getting your ole lady hooked up with other expat wives and/or retirees wives can be bad news, especially if it's exclusively a LADY's club
cause the others sometimes will know all about what you do when you are out on the prowl on your own 
we have an expat ladies club here & every one calls them bitches on wheels  Their main objective, outside of charity work, is chasing gossip about every other member's hubby
true or untrue, the wives normally believe it
While your fiancé may appreciate your need to explore outside the house, she will get her nose rubbed in it by her peers. You can look at it as the Falahng style of "losing face"
i.e., "You mean she can't please her man at home ? "
I wish I could think of an alternative, maybe rotary club or something like that could be better, since the men are also involved

WI as in Woman's Institute.
Most cities and large (ish) towns have this sorta group of ladies that get together over a cup of tea and plot what their gona get up to without us!
Actually I understand that they do very good work and there are lots of international affiliations. I'm sure your embassy will have details of the Bkk chapter!
