Since I am unable to change my username I am declaring my new name RICEMAN/
Why you ask. I am tired of having my LTGF IM me every week for more money because she sent the money I sent her to her sick buffalo and she is out of food.
I went to Big C and bought the following "I have no money to eat items;
1 Duomo rice cooker
1 bottle Nam Pla
1 bottle Soy Souce
1 pound of dried squid
1 box of pringles
5 packages of assorted instant noodles
She was very happy, but I wanted her to be present to chose the type of rice. Asian women the world over are just as picky about the type of rice they eat as the type of tampons they wear.
She thought it was a big thrill having her farang man take her to Big C to buy rice and I am a ham so why not. Thais were already giggling at a farang carrying around a huge bag of rice. We deposited the bag at the counter and walked over to Pratunam so I could buy her a new bedsheet.
She chose the rice and I wanted to get the biggest bag (25lbs) so it would last a while. To make a long story short, it is very hard to find taxis when leaving Big C, only Tuk Tuks.
So on Tuesday afternoon in front of Big C on Ratchatrop you would have seen a small but busty and bootied Isan girl carrying a large bedsheet package with her tall bulkly farang in tow carrying a large bag of rice on his shoulder all the way from Big C to the BTS station on Ploenchit.
All I can saw is that I loved the attention and we got plenty of it.

And it's very easy to get a taxi:
If you're on the ground floor, walk to the back (where the toliets and telephones are). Walk through the exit and instead of waiting for a taxi or tuktuk like most Thai suckers do, turn right and walk until where the parking garage entry is.
If you wait a few minutes, several empty taxis pass the soi.
If you what to go in the Petchburi Road direction make sure that they follow the right lane (so not the bigC lane). The taxis in the BigC lane are only allowed to go left.
My opinion is that the 'Price Leader' home brand rice (purple bag) is a great value for 69 baht.

We go the big heavy one full of Jasmine rice with a picture of a monk.
About the taxis. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Live and learn in the Big Mango
Thanx, I will do that next time when I make my journey to Bangkok in May to provide the princess with rice.
