Hi Guys
Just wondered, I have only ever been to Los, during the months of Nov -Jan
So ive only experienced it during the peak cool season
,
How is it during June, whats Pattaya like is there still lots of girls, at least as many, or have most returned home?
I wouldnt wanna turn up to a pussy drought lol, what is it like during june in bangkok and pattaya in the bars
also on separate note, is there going to be an issue in the capital regarding flooding, as I believe the rain kicks in at May

June will be hot, but not insufferably so... rains keep things from frying, but it will be muggy... enough of a breeze blows through so that we get a respite from the mugginess... plenty of air-conditioning and cold beer (you might find yourself jockeying for position with locals in the glorious shadow of a telephone pole while waiting on the street corner for the light to change).
... girls remain plentiful... no problem... none... you will not hurt for choices... maybe even better, since the princesses are not swept by the crowd of high season pussy hounds.
... flooding? again? yeah, a distinct possibility for this nation of incompetent crooks... pretty smart at risk assessment (which in this case means Thai government promises to fix problems), the international insurers voted with their feet... they completely stopped underwriting and reinsuring flood insurance in Thailand, and refused to renew existing policies... they got out of Thailand... the Thai government now does flood insurance guarantees (whatever that means) to keep foreign businesses from abandoning Thailand.
... based on the Thai government's hollow response to the situation and international insurers reading of the risk, I'd bet a better that even chance of floods again... but, if it does flood, the water rises slowly and you will have plenty of warning, and can easily escape to Pattaya or beyond, where they are totally unaffected.
... I'd not hesitate to come.

Bangkok in 2011 at that time was hot and very rainy,
this was part of the rain systems which caused the floods later then the storms went farther north.
The rain was mostly in the evenings and very heavy at times,
Would I go again that time of year ????
Sure, I am planning on it and hoping its just normal rain and not "flood" rain

... also, as BKKdreaming cites above, the rains we get here are monsoon... while you cannot set your watch by them, they usually hit consistently each day... not too difficult to plan your day around them so that you are indoors, or near indoors, during the hours of expected downpour... and, it IS downpour.
... the monsoon can be reasonably accommodated in the normal rhythm of your day, especially when you are on your own schedule... I seldom even carry an umbrella, and am seldom caught out in the rain.
... don't let the rain be the reason you do not come... it's just not a good reason... really.

I find Pattaya to be a couple of degrees cooler then BKK and way less air pollution. Plenty of girls around.
