so heading back to LOS in about a month and due to location and travel times I hit a nine hour wait in New Delhi which is a bit long to bimble about the air port or stew in the lounge.
So practically, with checking in and customs out, I have about six hours does any one have any suggestions how to kill the time before my flight at 23hrs?
Sensible suggestions much appreciated.

If you have a visa that would allow you to get out of the airport, you would need another 60 minutes or so to get to a good starred hotel room. Provide another 60 to return to the airport and you have 4 hours remaining (since you have already factored in 2 hours for security and check-in). Seriously, not worth the trouble and expense. Delhi airport was recently modernised and you could lounge in a nice coffee bar and browse the net and look forward with great happiness to the paradise awaiting you. All good things are better enjoyed when the wait has been long. Enjoy that coffee.

Thanks Kaymanx the spa seems a good option. I will get a visa due to the fact last time I did this trip even though travelling business class I had to wait hours for the connecting flight operators at the transit desk. They would not let me through to the lounges due to the fact they could not issue me a boarding card! Lots of people seemed to be stuck in the same no mans land and lots of people were extremely agitated. So with a 9hrs to kill but six in real time I will leave and check in again not to get stuck in such an absurd situation.

Hopefully matters have improved on that front, bingo, because I have been reading several reports about Delhi's improvements. Checking the net I did come across a few discussion forums (dated) that said the spa was not open yet. But the hotel's site suggests it's working. Am due to go over there soon, and if I can check the spas (big if as time's very limited) I will post it here.

A plane full of indians...............what does that smell like? I once got seated next to indians on a flight from nrt to bkk- god I couldnt stand the odor.

Just for the record I thought slum dog millionaire was a great movie.
And I love those head nods Indians do.
So I can travel with Indians no worries.
