I have flown enough times on UAL business class to know that it is not worth the extra money. Not only are the "flight attendants" very "senior", they may also be masculine. My most favorite time was on Korean Air business class. The pretty stewardess pampered me with almost anything I wanted. I was too nice (and naive) to ask for things that I in my old age now would not hesistate to ask......."those lamb white days"...... to quote Dylan Thomas.

I get pretty horny also, and I fly Air Canada!! On my way to los i go toronto-tokyo-bangkok. I don't look at the fat mean wenches (flight attendents) but I drink about 4 johnny blacks, then 1-2 over counter sleeping pills, after that I let my mind wander....i think about what I will be doing soon, it is quite possibly the best high, the anticipation is overwhelming. Unfortunately, the way back sucks, drink alot and knock yourself out, and fight back the tears!!

1) buy/rent a DVD player and a bunch of movies
2) bring a laptop (w/DVD player a bonus) play games, do research, write a journal, ...
3) practice your Thai (if you're on a flight with Thai speaking stewardesses even better)
4) read
all combinations of the above.
BTW, what's the fine for groping the flight attendants? Is the price is reasonable, I might fly Singapore next time.

Over the years I have flown just about every airline that flies internationally. I ended my active business career with over 900,000 frequent flier miles in my NWA account and 6 figure mileage in my Delta and America West accounts.My favorite airlines,based upon service and ambience(read this attentive and pretty flight attendants) are
1. Singapore Air
2. Malaysia Air
3. Cathay Pacific
The first class lavs in the new SAS equipment are amazing. You could hold a dance in them and the windows are supersized.
The friendliness of the Singapore crews is unmatched.
Certainly the NWA flight crews are more senior,but I do hold a few fond memories of two of the LAX-Narita flights. But mostly the NWA crews just don't seem to be too happy about being there.

Gotta partially disagree with you on this one. My last business class flight, on UAL from Narita to Don Muang on UAL, the flight attendants were mostly comely young Thai women. The lone exception that I met was a sweet young Japanese, who spent most of the flight flirting with me. I was going to ask her to go to dinner while she was in Bangkok, but I found out she knew a business colleague of mine and I need to keep my anonymity when out with pretty young flight hostesses. It was a pity but a boost for my ego nonetheless.

I have no problem with the UAL stews from Narita to Bkk. They are almost always nice and certainly cute enough to chat with. Unfortunately, from the US, that is the shorter leg of the journey and the one to Narita has the battleaxes.

I flew Delta on the Tokyo to USA leg, so I wouldn't know what the UAL battle axes look like. If they are like the Latin American flights I used to have then I can't imagine a starker contrast. Delta is okay, not as bad as UAL, but still a far cry from the wonders that the Asian flight attendants can be.
