I love this forum.
There is 2 massage place inside of the international terminal. One is near the VIP lounge as you leave the custom, and other one is near Gate 70.
IMHO, I would go to Poseidon, get a couple of sideliner, get a soapy bath, eat a nice dinner in the suite, then head to the airport at aobut 9 pm

Leaving your stuff at the hotel after checking out is normally no problem, if it is a small hotel and you know the reception staff they may let you use an empty room to shower or there may be changing & showers facilities by the pool.
Worthwhile asking about a late checkout, if the hotel is not full this may be no problem as long as the maid can make up the room before going of duty.
Another option is if you have access to you airlines lounges, many of them have showers though this is not the best option as you will have to carry around your change of / discarded clothes.

Between the two international terminals right across from the the grouping of fast food places (piazza hut et al.) there is a massage place where you can take a shower, price is less than 200 baht.
The Amari Hotel has a three hour rate for $35.00 USD, but as noted above it may be over by 6:00 PM. There is a walkway from the airport to the hotel in Terminal One.

You could stay at your BG/GF place and shower before you leave or do what I did which was to rent an apartment year round in BKK instead of paying for expensive hotels every trip.

It is a good practice for those who like to have last moment fun in LOS. And why not ?
Incidently, I had the same experience in Bangkok. Thanks to the taxi driver, who calculated the time of journey and insisted me to go for a good massage before heading to the departure lounge. It really freshen me up, and the driver found to be honest. He was waiting for me in the reception area. My luggage was in the taxi boot and when I finished,he seriously asked if I am feeling good or not.
I had a two hour sandwitch, shower, BBBJ and one shot as well. Time and money well spent.
Bob Five head, please give little more elaboration of this massage joint between the two airports. Once I came from domestic to International thru the walking bridge, I did not notice this.

I flew on Cathay on my last trip which uses terminal two check in. After checking in if you take the elevator up and walk in the direction of terminal number one you come to a grouping of fast food places on your left then on the right is a massage place, you can't miss it, unless you follow my directions. I din't use it as I stayed in the Amari for three hours but as I was eating a slice of Piazza I saw the sign for the showers in the window.

Thanks everybody for your advice. I think I will take the massage option at the airport.
And also change clothes there. When I get back to home It might even -25C.

If you want to watch your bahts the massage's at the airport are a bit more expensive than downtown.
I went for the shower and oil massage option with HJ which wasn't expected when I went in but it was the best iv ever had.
Just noticed the date of the last post it may be a bit late now.
