Hey guys, NWA rocks. I just went into their website and found out that I could print out my boarding pass right here at home with my computer. I'm looking at it as we speak. Now when I get to the airport tomorrow while everyone else is in line waiting to get their boarding passes I can head straight to luggage screening and head for my gate. I LOVE MODERN TECHNOLOGY! NWA started offering this service about 19 months ago and was one of the first airlines in the world to do so. They really pioneered this service and other airlines soon followed. I fly NWA almost exclusively (logged 105,000 miles with them last year) but their planes tend to be on the older side. As a NWA stock-holder, I thank you for flying them! (They need all the help they can get.)

You said a mouth full brother MT. While I was going through the process my seat # was highlighted so that I could change to a different available seat if I wanted to so I went into the seating chart and what I saw has me seriously worried about how bad things must be in LOS these days. I mean one click of the mouse and I went from seat 62D to 28H, and I was able to assign myself seat 28H on both of my flights. Here's the bad part. The 3 rows in front of me and the 3 rows behind me are completely empty, ON BOTH FLIGHTS.
I didn't bother to do a head count but it looked like at least half the seats are empty, on both flights ( Goes a long way to explaining why these discount fares are popping up suddenly ). I feel bad for you stockholders bro, but if this is any indication of how things are in LOS, tourist wise, then my heart goes out to everyone there. Peace

Yup, I hear ya. All airlines are doing crappy now. (Well, except for SouthWest.) The flights that I am on are pretty empty too. Which explains the drastic price cuts - gotta try to fill those empty seats.

Damn didn;t get such a good deal myself but seemed OK. NY to BKK tail end of June $840...I loved being able to select the seat on-line and if it's as empty as you say that'll be great.
As to printing the boarding pass wow ! Us Brits are not used to that sort of simplicity, do this mean I can completely avoid the queues, what about the baggage just get is screened and then chuck it in a pile or do I need to officially check that in ?
