Cheaper, I agree with you, faster than the cab, no way. If you take the cab, you don't have to wait for the bus, which sometimes takes as long as 10 minutes or more. Then you have to wait for the other passengers to board as well. I don't have those delays on a cab, and I normally instruct him to use the express way anyway. A bit more expensive, but still cheaper than a bar fine!

Not only is it not faster, but a taxi will take you to your door. Even one bag can get heavy in the heat, while lugging it up the soi. If you're staying at the Ambassador, I guess it's feasable, but why? To save 180 baht?
And the taxi to the GP, all in, is about 280 baht: 50 kiosk surcharge, 70 for both expressways, and 160 or so for the meter. Give the guy 300, and be cool.

Totally agree with you on my last trip on the way to airport from soi 5 I was very happy to give the driver 300 at least he didnt chat about "man u".
On the way in I take Thia services limo 500bt arive in style remember face is everything to thia's. It impresses the door staff. I alway's tip them staight off as well as they then try harder all through your trip.That one work's all over the world.

I wouldn't recommend Dollshouse Clinton Plaza.
It closed down late last year.
The rest od Clinton Plaza is on it's back with it's legs kicking in the air.

First time in BKK. Have security check the girls ID card. The girls know the drill and don't mind, it's for your protection. If they have inroom safe, I always make the girl shower first. Lock box in lobby, I only keep one days cash on me.
