You could always try Philippines Air LAX - MNL - BKK. Stay a day or two in MNL (if so desired) I doubt they are booked, I fly back and forth from MNL - BKK and they are not packed.

I used to hit up at least one trade show, usually the Gem show, or the craft, and household show, just for the tax writeoffs on the whole 2 week trip. Let the IRS pay for my airfare.....lol.
