2 subway stations close Friday

Two subway stations -- Silom and Lumpini -- are closed on Friday, BMCL said in the morning.
Trains operate as normal -- from 6am until midnight -- at all other stations, it said.
The closing of the two stations came after violence erupted in Bangkok on Thursday night, which left one red-shirt protester killed and several injured.

Subway service partially shut down
===========================
The subway train is operating only between Rama 9 and Bang Sue stations, the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRT) announced on Friday afternoon.
The service between Rama 9 and Hua Lamphong has been suspended to avoid clashes in areas along Rama 4 road.
Earlier in the morning the subway train still operated throughout the whole route and all stations were open except Silom and Lumpini.

All BTS trains to stop from 4pm

The whole BTS skytrain system will be taken out of service from 4pm on Friday for passengers' safety, Bangkok Mass Transit System executive Anat Arbhabhirama announced.
Mr Anat said all skytrain stations on both the Silom and Sukhumvit routes will be closed from 4pm.
When the service will resume depends on the situation, he said.
The skytrain service has from time to time been disrupted since the beginning of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship's protest began on March 12.

Subway, skytrain not operating
=======================
Subway and skytrain suspend all services on Saturday until further notice.
Skytrain stopped running since 4pm while subway stopped its service since 5pm on Friday.
The suspension of the services came after the clashes between troops and anti-government protesters which left at least 10 people killed and more than 125 injured.

BTS and MRT to remain closed

BTS announced on its website on Sunday that both the Silom and Sukhumvit Skytrain lines will remain closed on Monday over fears for passenger safety.
BTS said it will announce if it will resume services on Tuesday 18 May 2010.
The MRT will also suspend underground services on Monday for safety reasons.
It will continue to assess the situation to determine if it can resume services on Tuesday 18 May 2010.

Subway to resume operation Sunday 23 May 2010

The MRT has announced on Saturday morning that it will resume subway services on Sunday, from 8am to 8pm.
The MRT will provide subway full scale service as usual on Monday.
BTS said it needs times to assess damage and the system’s readiness for resuming providing services.
The BTS expects it would be able to resume skytrain service of both Silom and Sukhumvit lines on Monday 24 May 2010.
