China airlanes is not bad....4 new movies each flight, and 3 or 4 channels more for news, fashion.documentaries and so on....some nice games too and about 10 audio channels.....service good....you could drink as much as you can on the plane...kind and extremely cute hostess and if you fly from europe a good deal for your money comapares with other companies...anyway chinairlanes is actually from Taiwan let's see what is gonna happen to this country soon!!!!

Which Japanese airline are you talking about?? JAL, ANA or some other one. I'm not sure about JAL, but ANA has the seatback monitors in coach with the capabilities to stop, rewind, pause the movies. You also have a bazillion movies to chose from to watch!! ha ha ha!!

You're lucky that China Airlines is running the new (I think 777 or 767 or something like that) planes out of Europe.
Many if not most of the 747's flying from the U.S don't have the seatback monitors and only have the personal entertainment units in business or first class.
