Has this been proven? I don't think so. It's far more credible that an insane regime like North Korea just shoots down a plane 'because'.
No wonder everyone's routes avoid NK.

I am pretty sure it has been proven since this was on A&E and also 60 minutes one time.
Plus some guys who work for Korean air say they are sure this happened.

Hey, if everything on 60 minutes is really true we are all well and truely f_cked. But over at A&E, it is for sure that nothing is true, or false.
"some guys who work for Korean air" Yep that is true! Whenever the kitchen staff is told to 'short' the dinner trays, you know that baby is headed for the ground.

Even the History Channel has been known to give out the wrong information, heaven forbid! ;-)
I once watched a "special" on the history of the 747 aircraft. There was a whole segment on how the landing gear design was "borrowed," from the B-52, and since the B-52 is a military plane, Boeing, the designer and builder of both planes, had to get special permission from the Defense Dept. to use the B-52 landing gear design on the 747. Well, Boeing is a client and one day, when I had the head of 747 production on the phone, I asked him about it. His reply was, "Bulls---!" He then proceeded to tell me, in GREAT detail, item by item, the difference between the two designs. You can't believe ANYthing you see on TV or on the Internet. ;-)
