Minder that deal had cheap & nasty written all over it. By virtue of it being a KL to Gold Coast (Australia) flight, they were just trying to initially fill the return seats back to Malaysia
These deals are more hassle than they are worth unless you live in the remote cities they fly too. I was looking at a flight from my origin to Gold Coast, then the Air Asia X flight, then the KL to Bangkok flight...what a pain, & in the end little saving
The only plus when I asked what the ‘X’ in Air Asia X meant, the reply came back porn movies were shown complimentary

I am in the US now. The cheapest flight I could find out of Wash DC area is $1600 for August. Oil Prices, Weak Dollar, US fighting multiple wars = Punter getting f***ed.

granted some people get away with MURDER with some of their "carry-on" sized bags but "holy shiite muslim" talk about nickel and diming the consumer to DEATH!
might as well MOVE to thailand, might come out cheaper than flying up 2-3 times a year!

We need to round up are own charter jet flying only out of couple Euro, USA, and S. Am. cities once a week inbound and outbound.....All business class seating, open bar, great BBQ and Thai dishes, and first and upmost the best P4P models servicing travellers needs.
Price fixed at $850 RT, with luggage over limits; 2 cargo footlockers per person just incase you buy a 1 way $425 and stay in Thai forever; AKA Work Suks ! Take this job and shove it ! cause the oil corps and the Suadis are screwin us down the drain !
