Could someone please explain to me what "FAST-TRACK is?
I travel to BKK monthly and see the signs all over the place, but the airport staff has no clear answer for me.

Hi Pegasus1,
there are two kinds of fast track services:
normal fast track and vip fast track.
normal fast track
you will be greated at the airbridge of your airplane after arrival. SOme one will carry your hand luggage for you. You will be guided to the diplomats immigration line and do not have to wait in line.
After immigration a porter will help you pick up your luggage and escort you to our limousine.
vip fast track
principally the same however you will wait in vip rooms until your bags are picked up for you. (Never used this service so I do not have first hand information).

The only problem I have with the airport, is when leaving. I find the immigration/passport lines unbearable. Is there a way to speed this up with Fast-Track?

BK - Thanks to your advice to Pegasus Re: APEC Card - I have just posted off my APEC application today - ready for another fast track getaway to LOS on about 19th Feb. (Have to buy the AirX ticket yet...). Dissapointed to hear that Ms Nong from Tulips maybe gone. She is part of the reason for my trip! Doesn't the Thai Govt realise how many billions of baht the Ms Nongs are contributing to the economy - via us farangs?

Thanks for the advice. However, is the APEC card good for U S citizens. I did not see the U S as one of the participating countries to file an application.

Booked through that company for a friend who had never come to BKK before and wouldn't do it again, they didn't offer any buggy service inside the airport and the limo (ahem...
Toyota Camry...) driver that took them to the hotel didn't care to pay the 70baht for the expressway so they drove through the city streets 
Read good reviews about the following company, but when I called them for another friend they didn't offer anymore the 1 time fast track service. Might be a good deal for the 1 year service though :
