Sputnik, after you get your tickets call the airlines and make sure the reservation is in the system. I've had it where the travel agent failed to put the reservation into the computer correctly, that even though I had a ticket for a flight the airline didn't have me in the computer! I had to fly standy and the flight was overbooked. Fortunately I got on, but boy did that suck. That was done by Star Tour in Hollywood California.

I priced a quick trip to BKK from Texas in November on AA and Eva through Sidestep.com, using Travelocity to help me pick the exact dates.

Orbitz was showing this ticket as just shy of $1,000 until the next-to-last screen, then it dropped the final cost to $885. Not too shabby.

Getting that itch to return. So many reminders... Just heard the song "One Night in Bangkok" on the radio tonight. Also saw a bumper sticker on the back of a minivan the other day that said, "My kids think I'm an ATM".

A couple weeks ago got an e-ticket special from United, LAX-HKG for $649 total. Using 20,000 UA FF miles to go from HKG to BKK on Thai Air, will arrive about 30 minutes before the Narita-BKK UA flight lands (which LAX & SFO usually connects through to BKK).

checked orbitz yesterday and saw tics from Las Vegas to BKK from $750 in October. If flexable use the days before and after option--nice way to compare.
A small hint for internet tixs--if you are motivated--is to search for tickets just after midnight in all time zones because of those folks who may be holding tixs and do not purchase them--these tixs are released at this time and some bargain fares become avalible.
