I have heard mixed reports from all airlines. Seems to be if the crew are in a good mood or not ? I was very happy with SAS this year. I have also heard that Sri Lankan are very good. Mind you if the ticket is cheap enough = who cares?

Used Emirates from UK to Bangkok and was very diasspointed. Supposedly voted best airline I rate it badly. Poor service, delayed flights, entertainment not working. Sloppy and too much on the sardines in a tin side of luxury!

British airways are sh*te, no leg room and when they ask you what meal you want they always give you the other one, the earphones are always broke and im to fat to get in the toilet so i'll stuggle to get in the high mile club. suppose I could just have a wank.

I flew back to the US on United last week. I had exit row seat and the food was ok. I'm flying with UA next month when I come back to LOS for 60 days. I've flown many airlines and back in the cheap seats they are all the same.

Last three trips out of the west coast have been on United. Service was OK. United will fill up the Business Class with Milage Plus members. Last trip I was upgraded. Many of the delays are not the fault of the airlines. Obtaining clearances involves many factors especially when crossing other countries. Last trip was delayed in Tokyo taking on additional fuel as they were unable to get a clearance across Viet Nam. Flight path took us to Singapore before turning north to Bangkok. It was a long flight.

My trips in the last 6 months have all been business class with Finnair, great price, 2+2+2 seating, excellent food and a great wine selection and best of all a consistently good service. Seat isnt the best (and is highly variable between aircraft) but at half the price of BA it is ok (and you get BA miles too, only one more trip for Gold FF for me ). The seats also come with laptop power (unless you have just bought a new Dell laptop like me and cant get the bloody thing to work with any laptop adapter) and a large IFE screen and a good selection of films usually. All this for £1100 return to London (and only paid £1400 over Xmas and New Year) Emirates are one of the worst airlines I have ever flown with my tip is avoid like the plague. Has anyone any experience with BA's Premium Economy? I am beginning to be tempted by a non stop service but can't bring myself to pay for BA Club. The more often I fly to BKK the more the final trip back from Helsinki to London becomes a real pain in the arse, maybe it is just the thought of going straight into work

IMO, Singapore airline has the best service. I alway try to fly them when I fly to bkk from Europe. However, from East coast, US, singpore airline does not have attractive flight time. I usually fly Northwest, Cathay Pacific or JAL. Cathay Pacific has the best business class IMO, with continental and JAL come in second and third. Asiana, China airline, and EVA to follow. Northwest plane is older than JAL or Cathay Pacific, however, they are installed new business class seat, maybe it will imporved its rating.

used to be an emirates fan. not anymore. even I am a silver skywards, no more upgrades and service was not the same anymore. have since changed to SriLankan and have not been disappointed so far. they are where emirates used to be. had a chance to fly business class to and from hk last time and it was top service and food. the only downside is that you are getting the more experienced flight attendants and gay pursers. the purser tried to persuade me to visit colombo for a holiday. I told him, "the women seem to be very beautiful". he smirked and said "the men, too". 555. rtb

KLM must have the worst cabin staff in the industry, when you do get a half polite one, you think you have struck gold. The only time they smile is when you are getting off the plane. mind you would not to fall out with one of them girls their built like brick sh-t houses, they fly the 747s half full just to carry em!!!!!!
