I have looked at your profile, OK you are American; presume you are travelling to Thailand?
Don’t know about USA because I am British, in the UK there are many insurance companies offering travel insurance for short periods or annual for unlimited trips in an entire year.
But have you tried “GOOGLE”?

Good research but full of holes. For instance, I am a Yank but haven't been there since 1991.
I get my insurance through BUPA in Thailand and here in Saudi.
DJB should just call his local insurance agent or travel agent if he is in the US. Most travel agents have some sort of travel insurance package available for sale.

Your travel agent should be able to assist you in this matter, they ussually deal with several different insurance companies, if you don't have one you can still just get travel insurance from them.
Also some credit card companies offer travel insurance, the only catch you have to purchase all of your trip on your credit card, my brother got caught, he paid cash for one of his hotels and tried making a claim but they didn't honour it because of this clause.
Otherwise as Basil Bush said try Google, prices I wouldn't know as I live in Australia, plus all the things I've tried helping you with may not apply in America but worth checking out.

Obviously I am going to thailand....
Yes I did try "google" and as it turns out, there are thousands of web pages that came up. I COULD call my local travel agent, but all I wanted to know was if anyone knew of the best travel insurance, (in their opinion) one that is also the cheapest. Basically just asking for advice, not for everyone to spend hours online searching.
