Hi I never started a thread before but I hope this will help people. Are there any members that live in the UK that has a frequent flyer card with any other group besides Star Alliance with a status of silver or above. If you have I can make you the same level card holder for Star Alliance. PM to save on the server hard drive space and I will give you details.

You need to be a Silver or gold for another group or airline IE sky tem one world etc. You have to live in the UK. I would like it to be other countries as well but these are not my rules. I am a 1k premiere card holder probably the only one in the UK and they must think if they ask me I can get others onto Star alliance airlines to fly as much as I do. If you get your card through me you get the same level as your other card plus when you earn miles you get for the first year a 25% bonus on each 100 miles travelled. Thus you can move from Gold to Premiere card holder very quick. What’s in it for me. Every 5000 miles you travel I get 1000 given to me. So you are happy and I am happy. Also a quick one if anyone here is a Diamond card holder for Hilton in the UK you should have a form by now telling you, you get gold on KLM for free, no flying, if you fill that in get the card then contact me I can do the same for Star Alliance for you. Any other questions about miles and points etc I am the points bitch of the world.

I signed up a couple of weeks ago on my friends recommendation, I had a gold card with China-Airlines so I am just waiting for my Star alliance gold card to come through.
You have to register first with a Star alliance member such as Thai, lufthansa etc. to get a membership number then prove your status with any other airline/alliance and they will then match it for you.
A good offer IMHO.

Hi UK Shaga,
I wonder if this offer will be running for some time? The reason is that I have a silver Skywards card and I have to fly twice a year to qualify (UK-BKK) and if I fly once with Emirates and the next with Thai I probably will not qualify for a silver with ether next year.
But to be honest Emirates have really p!$$ed me off (see here) so I may be looking for a change next year so please PM me the info.
