I fukked up and did not leave enough time to apply for a Chinese visa before I leave to Thailand and China next week. Has anybody applied for one in Bangkok before.

-Can I apply through a travel agent?
-How many days to process?
-Price?
-Requirements (passport photo, passport, anything else?)

Thanks

I have done it. I wish I still had the name of the guy who did it for me, but I don't. I also can not remember how long it takes. I am sure if you are willing to pay extra u can get it same day, otherwise I am sure within 2 work days. I would advise you to try sawadee travel on sukhumvit road. I know for a fact many agents in the Khao Sarn area do it, but not sure about those around the suk.

Hey ccvvbb go to the Chinese visa issuing office. They will be able to do you one usually within 24 hours when you pay extra. 'L' visa for tourists, 'F' visa for business types.

Take a couple passport sized photos with you.
If you have never had a Chinese visa in your
present passport before, you will not be able to get the 'F' visa.

There are three levels of entries available: single entry, double entry,
and multiple entry.

Expect gruff, sour faced service, and you pay after you pick up your passport.

I have about 5 or 6 visas in my passport now so it sounds like I qualify for multiple entry.

How long is a multiple good for?

Do I need any special documentation for an F visa?

One more question, do you remember where the office is?

Thanks, CV

Must be China Visas in Passport
Sometimes need letter of invitation
from Chinese based company for F visa.
(Unless you get it in Hong Kong)
Multiples usually 6 months or 1 year.
Tel. Numbers 0-2245-7032, 0-2245-7033,
0-2245-7036 CALL FIRST
I have got China visas from Canada,
USA, HK, Philippines, Thailand, Korea
and often the visa section of China moves.
You can get extensions easily once in China,
from 30 to 90 days.
Many rule changes occur, but getting easier
to get what you want.

Best China Visa deal?
Go to Hong Kong, and you can get a 1 year
multiple entry 'F' visa from a travel agency for
$700 to $900 hk$ no questions asked
(other than standard form).

chinese visas are a breeze to get.. travel agents can do it for u..

if I recall correctly just 2 passport size pics and 1400 baht (including agent's fees).. takes about 3/4 days..

can be faster but the fees goes up..

no need to lift a finger, agent comes to collect and deliver.

2 day service cost me 2800 Baht, I got a single entry, 30 day visa, it is still cheaper and faster than in Canada.
