I know the rate from the airport to Pratunam is about 150-180Baht. Why if you come out of arrivals must you go to a little counter to get a taxi and they charge you about 300 baht plus you pay the toll fee..The taxi drivers don't want to help you either unless you go to the counter.Where can you get a taxi without going to that counter.
If you travel light - walk out to the main road and flag one down - otherwise go to the departure hall, and try and quickly grab a taxi that has just dropped someone off - depending on traffic, they may take the tollway, an extra 30 bt, but yes 150 bt to Pratunam should be about right. The airport Bus also goes that way. - The additional charge is airport levy, and/or a taxi waiting surcharge.
