Hi,
My wife and i will be flying to the U.S. in December,and are wondering if anybody knows how difficult it is at the moment to obtain holiday visas?(2 week).
She is Thai and i am British.
We are going to the U.S. embassy in Bangkok next week to check for ourselves,but thought somebody may have experience in this matter.

Just by glancing around here's a little of what they said in the F.A.Q section about tourist visa's.
Q : What does an applicant need for a visitor visa?
A: An applicant must have a passport, valid for six months beyond duration of the proposed visit, one passport-size photograph, and proof of social, economic, professional or other compelling ties to a residence outside the United States to which he/she will be expected to return after the visit. See further information on visitor visas under the Visa Services home page.

If you have a British CITIZEN passport then you just complete the temporary green form on the plane. If you have a British SUBJECT passprt then you will need to check that out.
I haven't reviewed the info from ABC regarding your wif's situation but I suspect you will have to go through the interview routine.

The Mrs is a bit worried,its her first time to America.
When we visit the U.K.there is no problem,i think mainly because we were married in Hong Kong under British law.
