(I've searched for this with no avail)
What way can I travel from Samui to Phuket? I'm guessing I'll probably have to get a ferry to Surathani and bus it from there. Is this the best and only option ?

And flying is out ???
Direct flights often from Samui to Phuket... Of course as its a private airport they screw you on airport 'tax' which alwasy puts a bug u my ass but its still the easy and fast way to do it..
Also yes you can do the ferry (or speedboat) and minibus option...

Flying it is ! I couldn't find any airline on the web that does that route.
