Thats not a bad price for a direct flight on a decent airline. You may get cheeper but with stopovers less legroom poorer service is it worth saving a few quid?? I'm flying EVA "Evergreen deluxe" in October for £637 and I'm happy with that price.

Montydog, i very nearly booked a flight on EvaAir Evergreen Deluxe class earlier this year and some reports have said that it is very near to business class standards for the price of economy - can you confirm this?

http://www.flights4less.co.uk This is the website that last minute.com dumps the flights it can not sell on. It is the cheapest way to fly here if you are only go to do a once flight a year etc. They have a un nmed airline which will be somone like EVA of some other airline of the range for a real cheap price. Also they are very good on gulf air flights which I used to fly. Thanks and who is buying the beers

Addy 007: Yes, Evergreen Deluxe is a sort of hybrid. It's best described, I think, as Business Class seating with Economy Class food and beverage. Typically it runs 100 GBP or $180US more than standard Economy. From those of us who have partaken, I think it would be hard to find many that would describe the additional cost as not being worth it. P.

http://travel.kelkoo.co.uk/browse/b/172201/t_Bangkok.html I used this webiste to find my ticket with Etihad airways, http://www.etihadairways.com/index.asp, which I'll be flying in September. One short connection in Abu Dhabi. My round trip fare Heathrow to BKK was 366 pounds! Also, flights with Gulf Air were just slightly more expensive but still a bargain. I haven't flown with these airlines yet so I can't speak of the service. I agree with the other poster that you got a good price for a direct flight. But then again 100 pounds saved = 7550 baht. That's a good two days of sanuk in the bank bro. It's a question of where you'd rather put your money, to the airlines or to the TGs once the vacation starts.

Andy, Pen name has got it pretty nailed, the way the agents describe it is Enhanced or premium Economy. Got a free upgrade on my way back from BKK once and enjoyed it very much. As I was getting price's near the £500 mark I thought the extra was worth it. Better leg room seatback tv's etc. Also no crusty backpackers555
