I was getting ready to buy my airline ticket on Cathay Pacific to LOS, and low and behold I was presented with a $21 fee for FedEx-ing the Paper Ticket to me. It turns out that a paper ticket is required according to Orbitz. I thought that paper tickets had gone the way of 486 computers, gone, and never to return. Is everyone still using these paper contraptions these days?
I use Orbitz all the time and paper tickets are required for International flights originating in the US. It's not just an Orbitz thing, it's an FAA thing.
